Account Manager

Responsibilities

The Account Manager is responsible for the daily administration of our top-tier advertising clients. You will manage the entire client relationship, helping to ensure that we deliver on their campaign goals. As an Account Manager you will be responsible for all operational aspects of the client's campaigns, including strategy, planning, performance, troubleshooting, optimization, and reporting.

Specific duties include:

  • Manage and develop client relations in the early stages, from post-sale to campaign setup
  • Manage day-to-day contact with active clients—troubleshoot, resolve and/or escalate potential issues while keeping an eye on campaign performance
  • Optimize, pace, and track campaigns
  • Analyze performance and make suggestions that mutually benefit advertisers, publishers, and Turn

Requirements

  • Two+ years in an online account management role
  • Knowledge of ad agencies, advertisers, and the online ad industry
  • Willing and able to take full ownership of clients and their questions/issues
  • Success in fast-paced environments, especially juggling multiple client deadlines
  • Strong process, management, and analytical skills

Customer Support Representative - Client Services

Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Technical Services, the Customer Support Representative position will be responsible for supporting relationships with a wide variety of clients across the spectrum of web advertisers, agencies, and publishers. The Customer Support Representative will manage the day-to-day support functions of advertiser campaigns and/or network publisher operations. She or he will leverage state of the art applications to assist customers in their participation in the Turn Network. Responsibilities

As a part of a close knit, cohesive Client Services team, the Customer Support Representative will work closely and collaboratively with the Account Management, Business Development, Product Management and Engineering teams to deliver best of breed customer service, ad conversion volume, and industry leading publisher eCPMs. The Customer Support Representative will play a key role in recommending and implementing strategies for driving ongoing client product needs. As an integral part of the Client Services team, you will also be responsible for educating advertisers and publishers about all aspects of our next generation tools and how they can be leveraged to solve their goals and objectives.

Director/Manager of Ad Selection

Position Summary

The core objective of the Director/Manager of Ad Selection Modeling position is to manage a team of scientists and engineers to develop, maintain and enhance Turn's advanced ad selection core technology. This position will report to and work closely with the CTO of the company to define and execute technical projects in the ad selection area. This position should provide key technical and business guidance to the team, and provide ad selection related guidance to product, client service, sales and marketing groups. The candidate must be able to manage the technical team as well as complex technical projects with strong motivation and great effectiveness.

Product Manager

Position Summary

Reporting to the VP Product and Marketing, the Product Manager will be a subject matter expert for the pay-for-performance advertising industry, perform competitive analyses, gather market requirements, and synthesize them into product requirement definitions (PRDs), and assist with pre-sales support and post-sales training.

Responsibilities

As part of the Product Management team, this person will complete requirements gathering and the publishing of requirement documents for self-serve client UIs, APIs, and reporting/analytic tools. This is a highly interactive role, requiring the Product Manager to work closely with Software Engineering during the development of Technical Specifications, and the Marketing, Sales and Client Services teams in the creation of appropriate Pre-Sales Support and Post-Sales Training materials and programs.

Required Skills

  • Product Management experience in the field of online advertising, e.g., online networks, search engine marketing or technology vendors in this industry
  • Working knowledge of the systems used in the online advertising industry, e.g., ad serving platforms, rich media technologies, content publishing platforms, etc.
  • Working knowledge of basic HTML
  • Experience with the product development lifecycle of software delivered in a hosted service business environment
  • Demonstrable history of solid problem solving skills

Preferred Skills

Online Advertising Media Analyst

Position Summary

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Network Optimization & Media Buying, the Quantitative Media Buyers will manage Turn's data acquisition initiatives. The position requires a combination of strong analytical skills and business development/media buying experience and aptitude. Familiarity with behavioral and demographic ad targeting is very helpful.

Responsibilities

As part of the Network Optimization & Media Buying team, this person will own, manage, analyze and grow Turn's data acquisition initiatives (behavioral and demographic data from various sources, such as travel, electronics, auto, etc. websites, internet portals, etc). This job is unique in that it requires a combination of strong analytical/quantitative as well as interpersonal skills. He or she will work closely with advertising sales, the rest of the Network Optimization team, and publisher development to ensure that our data needs are efficiently and effectively met.

Required Skills

  • Media buying and/or business development experience in the context of advertising inventory acquisition
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills as demonstrated through education in a quantitative field such as science/engineering, or work experience in an analyst position
  • Familiarity with the advertising network space
  • Familiarity with the basics of Behavioral and Demographic ad targeting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills
